So we're back home after a good, long vacation to Jacksonville, South Florida, and Costa Rica. Where do I begin? We have our family back together in many ways and now that we're back in California, we'll begin to settle back into our routine. We had a really great time with our family and friends in Florida. Our good friends from Ridgecrest, the Goeppingers, even ventured to our hometown. That was fun playing tourist with them. We also made a trip to Ft. Lauderdale to hang out with Lynn & Cherry. What great hosts they are. And of course, Steve and I made it to our getaway in Costa Rica. It's a beautiful place called Los Altos de Eros that is literally nestled atop the rainforests. We were surrounded by lush trees, plants, and the sounds of monkeys 24/7. We had our share of rain, but really, I would've been disappointed if we didn't get any. Plus how lucky we were to have such great care given to Hana & Evan while we were away by our families! We had nothing to worry about and the kids had a nice vacation away from us too.
