I've seemed to have fallen a bit behind on blogging.  But believe me, it's not because life's boring...at all.  Our schedules have gotten busier and I'm learning my time is limited on the computer to researching for upcoming assignments.  Not as much as fun as blogging or surfing the 'net, but I'm certain I'll get it down to where I might even get Steve on here soon ;).  

Just a few things we've done in the last few weeks...

1.  Went to the apple farm in Tehachapi with Mrs. Shine and the class.  Evan did an outstanding job picking some red and golden delicious apples.   

And feeding the horses and donkeys around the property.

2.  Found the bowling nights on base are perfect on Saturday nights.

3.  We're looking forward to fall.  Which in the desert doesn't mean any change in "colors", but it does mean cooler temperatures and lots of great fall activities around town.  

4. And as I have been saying, "I have learned my lesson". Going back to school after being a stay-at-home mom for 7+ years is alot of work! I'm enjoying what I'm learning but man, I do wish I had done it right the first time :). Thanks for the support. Steve and the kids have been a big help when I've had my nose in the books, especially when I haven't wanted to, and I feel very lucky for the opportunity to go back to school.

And so, we are still around. I'm just having to work the blog into my schedule a little better. I know I'll catch up soon.
