J.W. Alvey PTO holds a Family Bingo Night once a quarter. We did not go at all last school year for one reason or another. {Maybe I thought it was lame...who knows}. Anyway, Steve was away on travel so it sounded like a good thing to do on a Friday night. And it was! I used to go with my mom to play Bingo on the base back in the day. We'd have our little area covered in cards and "dab" away as they called out the letters and numbers. I remember it being so much fun {I always got a Cherry coke that night}. Well, this definitely brought back some good memories. Evan was joined by his buddy, Yusef. Hana went to sit with her friend, Marine. Hana won a $5 gift card to Justice and some candy on the second game. She was so happy. Evan and Yusef were not so lucky but I think they enjoyed shouting "Awww" {as in awww, we didn't win again} out whenever someone else won.
We had a great time and I know we'll be doing it again. The kids insist daddy needs to join us next time. I hope Bingo with us will be one of their good memories one day too.
