2500 + miles on the road and Sally {the 4runner} got us to Virginia safely. She also turned 100,000 miles during our trip, so I thought she deserved a little bit of the spotlight too. Yes, I did make Steve pull off to the side as soon as the odometer rolled over to 100,000. I love this car! We will be adding a new vehicle to the family as soon as we get settled...and yes, it will get a name too :).
And here's our other spotlight photo. My sister took this for us as we were half way between the Capitol Building and the Washington Monument. This was our first time all together visiting the National Mall. Yes, the grass does look bad but they've experienced a dry spell {no, we didn't bring it with us}.
The road trip has to be the best thing we have done as a family so far. And for it to lead us to a a another adventure like this- what a blessing.
